We hope this update finds you and your family safe and healthy. While we don’t have a directive on a full open date, we wanted to be able to provide you what the near future will look like in our practice as we move forward with a “soft” reopen in the next 30 days for dental emergencies and will reintroduce non-essential care when we get clear guidelines from the California Public Health Department in the coming days.
Please know the health and welfare of our patients and our staff are still the utmost priority and we want to do our part to limit the spread of the covid-19 virus, reduce patient hospitalizations and lessen the strain on resources needed to treat patients.
With patient and team safety at the forefront of our planning, we will be implementing the following new/enhanced protocols:
- Temperature screening (<100.4 F)
- All scheduled patients and parent/guardian will be required to complete the ADA Patient Screening Form
- No indoor reception
- Only (age appropriate) patients will be permitted in the facility
- Younger children may be accompanied by 1 parent/guardian
- Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients and staggered to allow time for sterilization
Once we do start scheduling patient visits, we ask that you accept the appointed time by confirming the notification you receive via email or text. Please understand that we will be unable to reappoint rescheduled appointments and missed appointments, as our appointment time slots have been reduced to accommodate the necessary precautions. This will be strictly enforced.
We will be moving forward slowly, cautiously and safely as to not undo the efforts put forth in our communities and manage getting all our patients back on the schedule in a timely and efficient manner.
We value your patience during this navigation, and we appreciate your willingness to follow the guidelines set forth for the health and welfare of everyone.
